Week 15- Adding Skills/Conclusion Blog

When making adjustments and additions to your LinkedIn page, it is important to understand your skillset and the things that you excel at. This will allow you to gain a competitive advantage to your peers and to stand out among others to potential employers and recruiters. For example, on my LinkedIn page, I will add my skills that relate to my double major of both Business Management & Organizational behavior as well as Business Analytics. This includes my proficiency in the programs of Excel, SQL, and SAS, as well as my above-average ability in time management as I have been a student-athlete for 4 years.


To conclude my series of blogs for MKTG 3347, I will list some of my key takeaways. The first and most prominent thing I learned was that it is very important to differentiate yourself from others in the job search. In Professor Kelsey's book regarding A.I., it is a very important time to make yourself stand out as Artificial Intelligence continues to take the jobs of humans. Another thing I learned was to always be aware of your business's outreach and be able to analyze that data in order to adjust your company's brand and direction. This is important so that your business can maximize their outreach in order to increase viewership, and, in turn create more revenue in the long-term.
